This project was my first encounter with Copper State Models, built straight out of the box; the kit’s quality proved outstanding.

The cockpit, for me, is the first real contact with the kit and sets the tone for the whole build. The Nieuport XVII Early – cockpit is without doubt one of the highlights: excellent quality and rich detail straight from the box. With just a few additions—rings, tensioners, and control cables—you get a spectacular result. It feels almost like building a model within the model.
